Maximo Riera is a Spanish conceptual artist living and working in Cadiz. In addition to painting and sculpture, Riera has embarked on a collection of animal and marine life chairs inspired by his voyages around the world.
His Whale Chair above is based on the Blue Whale and has a flexible leather tail/headrest (there’s a combination not very often encountered!)
