Last night we spent a fantastic evening at the Amara Interior Blog Awards ceremony and got to meet so many talented interior bloggers. Held at the luxurious Ham Yard Hotel in London, we were in absolute awe as soon as we were ushered through into our stunning venue for the evening, the Ham Yard Theatre & Dive Bar.
With its neon-lit sign, giant orange juicer and fabulous seating areas, the Dive Bar was the perfect venue to mingle with our fellow shortlisters and a chance to finally meet the people behind the successful blogs. We met some lovely bloggers during the night, and are so thankful to our readers and everyone who voted for getting us there.
Although we didn’t win an award in our category, we were thrilled for the bloggers who won. Each award winner was truly deserving of their award, and it was an amazing experience to see so much support for one anothers blogs within the interior blog community.
The Venue: The Ham Yard Hotel Dive Bar
We were welcomed with an incredible drinks reception including flutes of champagne & delicious cocktails which were also accompanied by the best canapés we’ve ever tasted including slow roasted pork belly chili Vietnamese rice paper rolls, parmesan risotto cones, crunchy chicken lollipops and chargrilled steak with béarnaise sauce.
The Award Interior Blog Awards Ceremony: The Ham Yard Theatre
Once we’d all had chance to mingle and meet one another, we were then ushered into the Ham Yard Theatre as it was time to take our seats for the award ceremony. The lovely host for the night was Sophie Robinson, who tore open each of the golden envelopes to reveal the highly anticipated name of the winner for each category.

Canapés & Cocktails in the Ham Yard Hotel Dive Bar:
After the awards it was then time to head back out to the bar for round 2 of drinks, dessert canapés and another chance to chat, take photos and to congratulate those that won an award.
Then once the bar had closed and we’d said our goodbyes, it was time to grab our Amara goody bags and make our way home.
The Goody Bag
And, of course we have to mention our goody bag contents. They were filled with luxury goodies from award sponsors. We received:
A Missoni Home cushion, Seletti Travel Bag, a set of Christy towels, Magisso cake slice, Mulberry Home Candle, Farrow & Ball paint sample, Anorak purse, Christian Lacroix notebook, Missoni Home canvas bag, Bang & Olufsen USB, Thornback & Peel hankerchief, Ortigia bath salts, GP & Baker Tulip bulbs, & a Scion Living Coffee Mug & Chocolates.
It was great to be part of such a fantastic event, thank you Amara.

Thank you for such a great wrap up on the event. It’s lovely to see how it all turned out, I so would have loved to have been there. Congratulations to you for being a finalist, that’s a huge achievement too! Mel x
Thanks Mel, that is very kind of you. Such a shame you weren’t able to attend, it would have been great to meet you. Plus your blog is great & we are sure you’ll get shortlisted again and get to attend next year’s awards. -The NDA Team.
