We have selected a student from our Diploma in Interior Design Course to be September’s student of the month. Lorna Henson-Smith has been awarded this highly esteemed title based on the exceptional work she produced for Unit 6 of her course.
About Lorna’s Course
Here at the NDA, the Diploma in Interior Design is one of the most popular qualifications from our selection of design courses. The diploma allows students a platform to build on their love for interior design whilst increasing their academic and practical skills and knowledge. The main course units that are covered in this diploma include drawing, design, lighting, finishes, soft furnishings and colour theory along with a selection of other topics. The Diploma in Interior Design will also allow students a base to progress on to the BA in Interior Design that is validated by Staffordshire University.
What Lorna’s Tutor Says…
“The rendered window treatment design she produced shows great use of a simple but effective medium, and is of a standard that would be acceptable to present to any client. The design is not just aesthetically pleasing; it responds fully to the brief requirements and is both practical and functional. Overall, this is a thoroughly well considered and executed piece of work.
Congratulations Lorna, keep up the great work!”
Well done Lorna!
