A massive thank you to all who submitted their designs, we received hundreds of colourful and diverse schemes and we’re so impressed with the use of the Dulux Colour of the Year, Tranquil Dawn.
The task was to WOW the judges not only with technical and design skills but also with the use of ‘Tranquil Dawn’.
We provided two creative and challenging briefs for designers to choose from, one commercial and one residential, and all entries were of such a high standard that it made shortlisting an exciting, albeit, nervous experience.
We’re so happy to reveal the work of our 40 shortlisted designers. Click on the images below to view the gallery in full.
At the end of January, Dulux Creative Director and former NDA Tutor Marianne Shillingford and NDA Director of Studies Anthony Rayworth have the unenviable task of choosing 4 winners – 2 from the Commercial Interior Design Category, 2 from the Residential category. These four talented designers will each win £250 in Amazon vouchers as well as the opportunity to visit Dulux Creative HQ to see how colour trends are turned into household schemes as well as create and name their own paint shade.
The NDA Design Award has proven the level of talent in colleges, universities and academies around the world and we’re so proud to offer the opportunity for these designers to shine.Â
