Celebrating Our First Mattoboard Challenge Winners of 2025

This January, we embarked on an inspiring journey with our first Mattoboard Challenge of the year, inviting design enthusiasts to create a pop-up bar that captures the luxury and elegance of Tiffany & Co.

The response was overwhelming, with numerous submissions showcasing incredible talent and creativity. After a meticulous selection process, our esteemed tutors faced tough decisions due to the great creative submissions received. Today, we’re thrilled to celebrate our winners, whose designs not only met the challenge criteria but also pushed the creative boundaries of design.

First Place: Sophie Aitken

Sophie’s design, titled “Shaken, with Pearls,” is a masterclass in blending modern aesthetics with classic luxury. Her mood board reflects a deep understanding of Tiffany’s signature style, incorporating aqua and mint tones reminiscent of Tiffany’s iconic blue, enriched with textures of polished wood and leather. The strategic use of pearls adds a delicate touch of heritage, making the space not just a bar but a narrative of timeless elegance. Her use of subdued Tiffany blue, combined with nude leather and sophisticated gold accents, creates a space that feels both contemporary and luxurious. The design is perfectly balanced, with each element contributing to a narrative of modern elegance that respects its iconic roots.
