THIS MONTH’S NATIONAL DESIGN ACADEMY STUDENT OF THE MONTH IS PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN DIPLOMA STUDENT, MARCUS LANGE.
This month Marcus has been awarded for his continuous efforts throughout the course and the refined nature of his composition and content.
ABOUT THE DIPLOMA IN PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN
The Diploma in Interior Design is a great introduction into interior design that gives students the skills and knowledge to design their own interior projects or help family and friends with theirs, or giving you the confidence to move on to bigger projects or higher education.
You will gain a diverse understanding of interior design spanning; lighting, design, finishes, soft furnishings, colour theory, business advice and how to implement a design scheme. The course can either be studied from home or students can choose to study on our fast-track studio version based in Nottingham.
WHAT MARCUS’ TUTOR SAYS…
“Marcus is an enthusiastic student and has a real desire to excel within interior design. The content and composition of all his work shows he has a clear strength in visual communication. Throughout the course he has refined his design style.
The concept board completed in Unit 2 shows how he successfully identified an idea and visually communicated how this could be used to inform a full interior. All of the visual content gives an immediate impression of texture, colours, furniture style, lighting suggestions and includes other aspects of inspiration, and is beautifully composed. Marcus has embraced the transition of applying his previous design background to a different design discipline successfully.”
